Color and Career

After taking the True Color test, it resulted that I am Gold. This color explains how a person appreciates basic essentials in life much more than the other True Colors. These essentials include a person’s family, country, and home. The career that I chose, for Gold, was a Loan Officer. They decide whether or not a person should receive a loan, based on their financial background. The way Loan Officers find out about a person’s financial background is that they require filling out an application. The Loan Officers review the person’s financial statements, their potential borrowers’ applications and the reports of credit reviewers.

The requirements for a Loan Officer include two years in any type of college. Recommended college courses include Business Administration, Economics, and Accounting. The purpose for the courses is to increase the person’s percentage in receiving the Loan Officer career. The monthly average pay for a Loan Officer in California is $6,849, however, in the Nation it is only $5,863. This happens because California is a state that has millions of people which means millions of stringent consumers. This gives entrepreneurs a conspiracy. Conspiracies to produce more banks, which will produce more money, therefore, more pay for workers.
Loan Officers have a certain work environment. They work forty hour stint per week at a bank area or at an office. In their choice of area, Loan Officers also need to make close customer contact, possibly attend seminars and workshops, as well as often usage of computers, for processing information. A Loan Officer is required to know certain characteristics. They encompass: listening and understanding others’ needs, documenting loans, comprehending and analyzing financial statements, making new businesses, knowledge of banking products, and knowledge of community social and business environment. Most Loan Officers specialize in certain markets. Some of them encompass: Small Business, Agricultural, Automobile Loans or Real Estate.
The person I interviewed was Marisela Salamanca. The company she works for is Bank of America. Her title is Mortgage Loan Officer. The only day she is available, and all day, is on Tuesday's.  However, before seeing her in person, he or she has to make an appointment over the phone or by emailing. Unfortunately, Marisela said her boss would not let me take any pictures inside the bank. However, she told me that it was okay for me to take pictures outside the bank.
