Hello my name is Wendy Palma. I believe I had a hero and its my grandma. My grandma was my everything if I ever needed someone to talk to she'll be there. My grandma had a liver infection for 3 years she was on the waiting list of getting a liver transplant .The wait for that took about 3 years. I slowly started noticing my grandma being tired and her skin turning yellow time pasted and her eyes were yellow .On December 12,2007 they found a donor for her liver transplant ,we were all happy and thanked god of it. She got the transplant and everything went well. Until 4 hours later they told us she got an infection that went all over her body and there was nothing they can do because her body was to weak. They just had her on the machine because on her brain was working. The last time I seen my grandma was January 11,2008 the day before she pasted away .After that day my life was over my whole life changed my parents started to fight they want to get a divorce. I was into drugs I would smoke and pop pills everyday. I wouldn't show anyone my pain I was going through. Even now I'm still struggling with my parents but I managed to stop the drug use because of my brother and work.My friends love being around me because I'm always happy but when I'm home I'm in hell I try not to show my emotions at school and work but sometime I just want to give up. I know I changed because my grades and attitude changed .At my job I'm starting to become a supervisor ,slowly my life is changing. What helps me be a better person is my grandma even though she's not with me I know she watching down and helping me.
